Gigantic is set to complete another record-breaking year, concluding with its busiest quarter and reporting a year-on-year 21 per cent increase in turnover.

To date in Q4, the national ticketing agent has championed an exclusive Spotify presale deal for the Pink UK tour, established new deals with the local authority Nottingham City Council and destination management organisation Visit Nottinghamshire, and launched its innovative total ticketing solution for multiple UK Christmas market events.

In summer 2019, American singer-songwriter Pink will embark on her first UK tour in over a decade. Through the partnership with Spotify, it was one of Gigantic’s best performing days in terms of ticket sales.

A well-established relationship with Nottingham City Council sees Gigantic now selling tickets for all of its events, as well as providing a white label ticketing solution for tourism body Visit Nottinghamshire.

Gigantic is also the dedicated ticketing partner at multiple UK festive events, including Nottingham Winter Wonderland (pictured), Christmas in Walsall and The Village Screen Christmas in Sheffield and Manchester. Working closely with the organiser, it has resolved a complex set of requirements such as advanced booked time entry to the popular Winter Wonderland ice rink.

Mark Gasson, Gigantic founder, said: “We experienced a record year in 2017, with more than 20,000 separate events available via gigantic.comand 1.5 million tickets sold, an increase of 500,000 ticket sales year-on-year. As we approach the end of 2018 we remain confident that we will deliver another successful year of record results.

“Next year is going to be an incredibly exciting year for Gigantic, with lots of new technological developments due to launch and new business agreements already in the pipeline.”
