The cloud-enabled Wi-Fi network provider Xirrus has announced a wireless infrastructure with Squidsoup, to form the art installation ‘Bloom’.

Bloom is a Wi-Fi enabled lighting display in which each light contains a GPS chip, accelerometer and speakers, also known as a ‘IoT Sympony’.

They combine to form a digital symphony of light and sound against a backdrop of historic and iconic landscapes.

Bloom debuted in Kew Gardens before moving to Canary Wharf. It is set to make its first international appearance this summer in Mexico City.
