Twentieth Century Fox and Regency Enterprises’ World Premiere for Bohemian Rhapsody was held at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Tuesday 23 October, 2018.

7,000 fans were welcomed to celebrate the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, walking the red (read purple) carpet alongside stars of the film Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello, Allen Leech, Aidan Gillen, Aaron McCusker, Mike Myers and producer Graham King.

Queen legends Brian May and Roger Taylor also joined the cast on the red carpet that completely took over Arena Square just outside The SSE Arena, Wembley.

The stars of the movie accompanied Brian May and Roger Taylor as they took their seats to rapturous applause in the auditorium for one of the largest film premieres to have taken place in the UK in recent history.

The 27m x 14m screen used for the premiere was purpose built in France, with a second screen built in case either had any imperfections. The projector booth was also purpose built with a total of four projectors and a 7.1 surround sound set up was used.

Audience partook in the classic ‘boom boom clap’ of Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’ during the screening. As the credits rolled and the cast, crew and band members took to the stage to say their thank-yous, and a standing ovation was given.
