Winner Events has announced sponsorship of Harry Bentley, one of the brightest emerging stars among the ranks of Britain’s jockeys.

Goodwood Racecourse’s Ambassador for 2014, Bentley was initially an apprentice to trainer Gary Moore for whom he rode his first winner in 2010, Bentley was soon catching the eye further afield and in 2013 became second jockey to His Highness Sheikh Fahad al Thani of Qatar and retained rider to trainer Olly Stevens domestically.

His biggest win was on board Dubday in the Qatar Derby on Boxing Day 2013 and he has also made an impact in the UK guiding Lightning Thunder into second spot in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in May.

Winner Events recently won Best Plant Company at the Event Production Awards 2014.
