Global talent agency UTA has hired Janet Kim and Scott Schreiber as music agents. Both Kim and Schreiber will be based out of the agency’s Beverly Hills office.

Former tour manager Kim joins UTA with close to a decade of experience leading strategy and tactics for artists, working in both live touring and special events. She previously worked at CAA, where she booked artists at private/corporate events, large-scale pride festivals and LGBTQ+ events globally, consulted for companies including CJ ENM – one of South Korea’s largest media companies.

Schreiber joins UTA following a decade of experience booking shows from club to arena level at global entertainment agency WME. He has worked with artists such as Zhu, Chet Faker, SG Lewis, Tokimonsta, Channel Tres and Soulwax.

UTA partner and co-head of global music David Zedeck said, “Their expertise will be invaluable to our group as we continue to broaden our resources and find compelling new opportunities for our clients.”

Kim and Schreiber’s announcement follows a series of UTA hires such as Scott Clayton as co-head of global music, director of growth and strategy Rebecca Prochnik, director of artist brand strategy Irene Agbontaen and agents Carlos Abreu and Max Lee, based in London.
