Indian singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh has become The O2 arena’s (cap. 20,000) highest-selling South Asian artist, following three sold-out shows this month as part of his Live Nation- promoted Dil-Luminati Tour.

Diljit has now sold more than 60,000 tickets at the East London venue across two tours. To mark the record-breaking achievement, The O2 presented Diljit with an award created using Jesmonite, a sustainable material that can be crushed and reused, and tend fabric from The O2’s exterior.

Live Nation global tour promoter Nidhish Varughese said, Diljit Dosanjh continues to push the envelope on what it means to be a global artist, and this tour is truly history in the making. From breaking records at The O2, to captivating audiences around the world, his vision and talent are paving the way for South Asian artists globally. We’re honoured to be part of his journey.”

The O2 senior programming manager Marc Saunders said, “The Dil-Luminati Tour not only showcases Diljit’s mesmerising charisma and epic stage production, but also stands as a shining example of the deserved success of international and culturally diverse artists.”
