London’s Soho will host a new creative festival, taking place on 4-6 June 2014.
SohoCreate will bring together creatives to share their wisdoms, thoughts, experience and ideas revealing what inspires and motivates them in innovative and engaging sessions.
The festival will celebrate Soho as the capital of creative employment and a global destination for like-minded creative individuals, businesses and organisations.
Events during the festival will cover a broad spectrum of topics and unique partnerships, set to take place in some of Soho’s theatres, clubs, churches and bars.
Contributions will come from creatives within the television; film; advertising; music; games; post -production; SFX; theatre; food and fashion industries.
The festival is the brainchild of Westminster City Council and Tom Harvey, previously CEO of Northern Film and Media and a former CEO of the Edinburgh International Television Festival, as founding CEO.
“Evidently Soho is the most extraordinary productive and creative square mile in the world, therefore it’s the ideal location for a creative festival,” said Harvey. “SohoCreate is a festival about creativity and inspiration.”
