Redwood Event Solutions will be providing the safety and emergency plans and onsite safety delivery team for the three Handmade Fair events scheduled to take place in 2018.

Headed up by craft-loving celebrity Kirstie Allsopp, the three Handmade Fairs will bring together crafty experts, brands, independents and fans for three weekends filled with workshops, entertainment and shopping.

Redwood has created a safety and emergency plan tailored to each of the three estate locations – Ragley Hall in Warwickshire, Bowood House in Wiltshire and London’s Hampton Court Palace.

Working within the grounds of three estates presents its own challenges and considerations, Jim Davey, Redwood managing director said: “The first job is to understand the sensitivities and protected areas of the estate grounds – we’re creating sizable outdoor events across an estate that could have protected trees or wildlife, or heritage sites. We have to work really closely with the venue to ensure these sensitivities are considered in the safety plans. Most estates will also be open as a venue throughout the event build and duration – another consideration when it comes to public safety.”

Working closely with Brand Events, the Redwood team will be on site at each show to achieve consistently high safety standards that are reflected across each show.

Brand Events show director, Neil Levene added: “Redwood’s previous experience with all three venues has been invaluable. Each one requires event delivery to be done in a specific way and Redwood always ensures they meet the needs of the venue whilst maintaining the integrity of the show.”
