Kensington Palace has revealed that its new events space, Kensington Palace Pavilion, has experienced high demand in its first four months.

The Pavilion has already confirmed 27 bookings spanning a variety of events including receptions, dinners, a 50th birthday party and awards ceremonies.

It recently played host to the Cosmopolitan Influencers Awards earlier in the year, pictured above and below.

The space has so far accommodated event sizes ranging from an intimate 100 guests to the maximum capacity of 800, with one large drinks reception spilling out into the cradle walk and overlooking the Sunken Garden.

Alex Donnelly Palmer, events and operations manager at Kensington Palace, said: “We are thrilled with the demand we’re experiencing for the Pavilion since its launch in March.

“The Pavilion offers an incredibly versatile blank canvas space able to accommodate a huge variety of event concepts and sizes. We have an incredibly promising pipeline of business well into 2019, and are looking forward to the many diverse and exciting events that are ahead.”

The proceeds from all events booked in the Kensington Palace Pavilion all contribute to Historic Royal Palaces’ charitable cause, as income raised is reinvested in conservation, public access and educational activities.
