Tom HallTailored events specialists Crescendo has promoted board member Julia Phillips from her position of operational director to managing director.
With a client list that includes Farrow & Ball, White Stuff and Burger King, Crescendo also encompasses Fruitful, a dedicated team events business, that Phillips founded before joining forces with Crescendo four years ago.
Upon her promotion, Phillips commented on how delighted she is to be taking up the role of MD for the leading events business. “Having been on the board since I joined and looking after the operations side of the business during a period of significant growth it feels like a very natural and progressive step for me.
“I am delighted to have the support of my clients, colleagues and suppliers, and look forward to the next chapter in Crescendo’s successful history”.
Russell Allen, founder of Crescendo, is extremely pleased Phillips accepted the role and pointed out that the appointment of Phillips adds to a growing number of female MDs in the industry.
“I have known Julia for more years than she would have me mention and have thoroughly enjoyed working with her and watching her develop the team and business.
