More than 1,000 influential leaders in the world of football and sports were at Chelsea Football Club as the venue hosted the Leaders Sport Summit.

The event saw senior decision makers in football look at best practice and networking.

Football Association chairman Greg Dyke opened the event which also featured Juventus president Andrea Agnelli and Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.

“It’s great to be back here at Chelsea FC to host our sixth annual conference in central London,” said James Worrell, CEO of Leaders. “As one of the most globally recognised football clubs, synonymous with quality, it’s more than fitting that our event takes place here and more importantly, it provides us with the versatile, blank canvas space we need.”

The event featured a 1,400sqm exhibition featuring 35 exhibitors in a space normally used as a stadium concourse and a new purpose-built Sky Deck from Delta Airlines providing an entrance to several seminar rooms, breakout spaces, workshop suites and pitch-side dining.

Events were also held at Chelsea FC’s underground events space, Under The Bridge.

“We have welcomed some of the most powerful brands and individuals in the world of sport to our venue, showcasing our flexible space at its very best,” said Simon Hunter, head of venue and brand at Chelsea FC.
