Christopher BarrettWasserman has been rebranded The·Team following the naming of its founder and former CEO Casey Wasserman in the Jeffrey Epstein files that were released by the US Department of Justice.
Wasserman’s rebranding as The·Team follows Casey Wasserman’s departure from the company, and his announcment last month that he would sell the Wasserman Media Group. His departure followed a backlash by artists including Chappell Roan, who announced she would no longer be represented by the company.
The·Team (formerly Wasserman) is one of the largest talent agencies in the music business, while its Live Events division handles event production across sports, music, entertainment and culture. That arm of the business, which in the UK alone includes a 54,000 square foot facility, has been rebranded Live·Team.
The company released the following statement explaining the rebrand: “As of today, Wasserman is rebranding as The•Team and you can now find us at the.team. For 24 years, this company has been shaped by our work, our people and our unifying belief in the power of sports, music and entertainment. That philosophy remains the foundation of who we are – and where we are going. We go as we always have: Together.”
