Christopher BarrettTicketek, the ticketing arm of Sydney-based live entertainment company TEG, has hired Danny Hannaford as general manager of its UK operations.
Hannaford, the former head of ticketing & digital delivery at The O2, has a wealth of ticketing experience including overseeing Twickets’ operations in Australia, being ticketing manager at AXS, and global ticketing operations lead at DICE.
At Ticketek, Hannaford will report to Ticketek MD Cameron Hoy. Hoy said, “Danny is an experienced and accomplished ticketing executive who will lead our UK team with commitment, integrity and passion. In addition to Danny’s extensive ticketing knowledge he has a demonstrated track record of digital transformation and innovation and I look forward to his contribution to our global ticketing leadership team.”
Hannaford added, “I’m looking forward to getting started and to some exciting announcements we will be able to make in coming weeks”.
