The UK’s tallest sculpture, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, will be opening the doors to its viewing platform on 2 November to offer views of the fireworks displays put on as part of the Bonfire Night celebrations across London.

The ArcelorMittal Orbit’s viewing platform will shelter those viewing from the elements, whilst also offering 360 degree views of the London skyline.

Views from the ArcelorMittal Orbit extend up to 20 miles in all directions, ensuring that a number of well-known firework displays will be visible from the platform, including Newham Council’s display at Silvertown Docks.

All ticket holders will receive a complimentary drink, and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening. For £5, guests will be able to take a trip down The Slide, and view the firework displays whilst travelling through the 12 twists and turns of the world’s longest tunnel slide.

The director of visitor services at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Peter Tudor, said: “The ArcelorMittal Orbit has fantastic views over London year-round, but they promise to be extra special when lit up by thousands of fireworks on Bonfire Night. Why not make this year’s celebrations an evening to remember?”
