Smyle has been chosen as technical and design partner for SportFest, organised by SuperSkills Experiences.

SuperSkills Experiences was founded by Ed Rusling, a dad who wanted to give young people the opportunity to be trained by top sports stars.

He was inspired by an experience in 2010, when rugby stars Austin Healey and Will Greenwood would get involved in coaching young people while on a family holiday at the Forte Village Resort in Sardinia.

SportFest, one of SuperSkills Experiences events, is this year being held at Wormsley on 2-3 August. Up to 2,500 people, families and sports professionals will come together to share world-class sports coaching, have fun in competitions, camp out, listen to good music and enjoy great food.

Smyle, as well as being the technical and design partner, have an area dedicated to its nominated charity this year, Wings for Life. The charity funds research into finding a cure for spinal cord injuries, and Smyle’s mission in 2014 is to raise over £12,000 of support.

The news comes after Smyle secured a contract to produce Ryder Cup ceremonies.

Sally Hayes, Smyle’s charity producer, said: “Our aim is to smash our target which is why we decided not to enter any Industry awards this year and focus our resources on the charity instead.”

Smyle will host a Formula One show car for the two-days of SportFest, donated by Red Bull Racing. Guests can experience the car close up and also have their photo taken with it.

SportFest also takes place during the launch of Smyle’s Wings for Life Auction. Sally Hays said: “This is an amazing opportunity to build on the thousands of pounds we have already raised this year with the profile at SportFest coinciding with the auction site launch.”

Smyle’s Wings for Life charity auction site which will run for 10 days until August 6th, has some lots donated from some of its industry friends including: Center Parcs team building for 20 people, an England rugby shirt signed by 2003 World Cup winners, a 24hr golf experience at The Grove , a framed England v Australia cricket bat signed by the England team from the 2013 ODI series, tickets for the C&IT, Event, M&IT and MIMA awards, a table of ten to a London New Year’s Eve Ball by Smart Group and 3 nights stay for 2 at the Mazagan Beach Resort.
