The new £10m Silverstone University Technical College (UTC) opens its doors to year 10 and year 12 students next week.
Two hundred young people looking to specialise in high performance engineering or business and technical events management have enrolled at the college, which is situated at the British Grand Prix circuit.
Silverstone, one of 12 UTCs opening this September, was approved by the Department for Education in October 2011.
