Luc Peumans, from Belgian-based lighting design company Painting With Light, has been nominated for a Live Event award at the 2014 Knights of Illumination (KOI) Awards. 

The awards celebrate achievements in lighting and visual design on UK productions. 

Peumans designed the lighting and visuals for this year’s Music Hall Events-produced Peter Pan, which toured throughout the UK and Europe. 

Peter Pan’s lighting and visuals included pyrotechnics and 3D-mapped digital scenery. Peumans’ brief was to provide the arena show with lighting that highlighted the action, full of video montages, choreography and contemporary staging. 

“I am absolutely thrilled to receive the nomination,” Peumans said. 

The 2014 KOI Awards take place in London on 5 October.
