NuTickets.com allows organisers to co-ordinate sales, promotional activity, event management, door entry and HR management in one virtual space.
Tickets can be acquired via Facebook, where buyers can also invite their friends and download their tickets to a mobile phone, while door staff, using an iPad or iPhone scan a QR code to allow entry.
Organisers can use the dashboard technology to create guestlists and queue jumper options, which can be updated by appointed reps prior to the event date and managed by venue entry staff using the NuTickets app. The system can also be used to promote an event by adding promotional codes or conducting email, SMS and social media marketing.
“The way people come together is changing all the time, with social media and mobile devices now the norm rather than the exception,” Jose San Miguel, chief executive of NuTickets.com, said.
“For a relatively low cost, event organisers can now manage every consideration in one place, from inception and promotion through to ticket sales and event delivery, simply by using a laptop or tablet.”
