Max SteventonBeat The Streets has raised more than £50,000 for homelessness charity Framework following its January event in Nottingham.
Beat The Streets is run by Nottingham-based independent promoter and venue owner DHP Family.
More than 58 artists, bands and poets performed across city centre venues, with proceeds from ticket sales, merchandise, and other fundraising activities contributing to the total. The funds will support the completion of new supported housing in Basford for people who have experienced rough sleeping.
Since its launch in 2018 by DHP Family, the festival has raised a total of £604,155. Funding has supported accommodation projects, a winter shelter during the COVID-19 pandemic, mental health services and street outreach programmes.
Framework said the latest funds will contribute to Lee House, a supported accommodation project in Nottingham for men with a history of rough sleeping.
Organisers confirmed that the next Beat The Streets event will take place on 31 January 2027, with tickets now on sale.
Additional fundraising initiatives included a prize draw offering access to events at Rock City. DHP Family is also supporting a volunteering programme, Rock Corps, which includes a concert featuring Tinie Tempah and JayaHadADream for participants.
