ADS, the trade organisation for UK aerospace, defence and security, together with Airshow organisers Farnborough International (FIL), launch Global Intelligent Systems (GIS) next July, at the FIVE venue in Hampshire.

A two day conference with an exhibition alongside, GIS 2013 aims to provide an international showcase for the technology behind Autonomous and Intelligent Systems (AIS). The defence sector will be represented alongside energy, rail, automotive and healthcare, highlighting how the use of AIS technology is already widely applied throughout global industries.

“FIL is very excited to be increasing its global event portfolio with the launch of Global Intelligent Systems at Farnborough next year,” Amanda Stainer, exhibitions and events director at the site, said.

“GIS will break new ground with its scope and we look forward to welcoming a host of international delegates and participants in July 2013.”

A gala dinner will provide further networking opportunities on the first evening of the event with residential packages available for attendees.
