International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge, pictured, believes the Olympics and Paralympics could come back to London in the next 20 years.

Following in the tracks of 1908 and 1948, the 2012 Games saw London become the first city to host the event on three occasions. And after this summer’s success story, Rogge said the Olympics could return to the UK far sooner than many have predicted, with 2032 a real possibility.

“Whether there is a will to do that is another matter, but definitely that would be possible,” Rogge told BBC Radio 5 Live. “The IOC welcomes good bids irrespective of the place they originate from.
