Live Nation Entertainment (LNE) has announced the launch of “music-led destination experience company” Vibee, whose president Harvey Cohen (pictured) said will “build indelible memories between fans and their favourite artists in a new way”.

The world’s biggest live event promoter said its new business will offer immersive trips for music lovers in sought after destinations worldwide. It said the aim is to create and provide cross-generational and genre diverse multi-day events and activations on land and sea, including bespoke festival and residency packages. LNE said the core focuses will be curated experiences, festival integrations, and Las Vegas residencies.

The curated experiences are expected to include multi-day events with artists in the Bahamas, Mexico and further afield. They will include gourmet dinners and spirit tastings, artist conversations and panels, health and wellness classes, limited-edition merchandise and memorabilia.

Among its first festival integrations will be a worldwide partnership with Insomniac to produce curated experiences and festival integrations. Founded in 1993 by Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe.

“We are poised to deliver a range of once-in-a-lifetime destination experiences for every type of fan in vibrant locations all over the world,” said Cohen.

Among the projects Vibee is working on are EDSea, a cruise and music festival experience based on electronic dance music festival Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), and HOTEL EDC: a Resorts World takeover during this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas.

LNE said Vibee hotel experiences will also be created at festivals including Lollapalooza and ACL Festival.
