Joe GallopAEG Presents has announced Lana Del Rey as the final day headliner for the 10th anniversary edition of London’s 65,000-capacity festival American Express presents BST Hyde Park.
Del Rey’s headline show takes place on 9 July, with other performers still to be announced. It is scheduled two weeks after she is set to deliver a headline set on the Other Stage at Glastonbury.
She joins other BST Hyde Park headliners including P!NK (24-25 June), Guns N’ Roses (30 June), Take That (1 July), BLACKPINK (2 July), Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (6-8 July) and Billy Joel (7 July).
Del Rey’s last performance in London was in 2017 at a one-off gig at O2 Academy Brixton. She headlined Latitude Festival in Suffolk in 2019 and has played at other festivals including Coachella and seven Lollapalooza festivals internationally.
Last year’s BST Hyde Park saw Elton John perform as a part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, The Rolling Stones play two sell-out nights, followed by performances by Adele, Eagles, Pearl Jam and Duran Duran.
Tickets for Del Rey’s show go on general sale at 10am on 27 April.
