Kevin Moore joins From The Fields as operations director

Former Vision Nine festival director Kevin Moore has been appointed operations director at Manchester-based events agency From The Fields.

Moore was at Vision Nine since 2017, where he held the roles of senior festival manager, festival director and most recently freelance senior event manager.

Moore was also a board member at the Association of Independent Festivals from 2019-2022. He spoke at this year’s Event Production Show on a panel discussing how organisers and suppliers can cope with rising costs.

From The Fields promotes festivals Kendal Calling (cap. 40,000) and Bluedot (10,000), along with events such as Cardiff’s Christmas At Bute Park and Bournemouth’s Arts By The Sea.

Moore said, “Really rather delighted to join the team at From The Fields as their new operations director. An absolute treat to be able to contribute to the already excellent work being done on Bluedot, Kendal Calling, Christmas At Bute Park and Arts By The Sea. Added bonus that I’m able to continue working within the Superstruct Entertainment group. Festival season 2023 here we come.”
