Global brand experience agency Jack Morton has partnered with four clients to create their brand experiences at Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year.

MWC is a major industry telecom and technology event which takes place 25-28 February at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona.

It will be the 11th year Jack Morton has partnered with Ericsson and the ninth with Sony Mobile at MWC.

Jack Morton also helped BCG (the Boston Consulting Group) debut at the event last year and has continued to work with the brand, creating its presence at the World Economic Forum in Davos this year and its forthcoming experience at SXSW in March.

This year the agency is helping EY make its debut at MWC, following its partnership with the brand to create experiences at Sibos and ITC (International Tax Conference) in 2018.

Mike Kunheim, managing director, Jack Morton Worldwide, commented: “We have a great understanding and passion for MWC, having worked with leading brands there for many years. So, we’re delighted to be able to apply our expertise and experience of this important, but highly competitive industry event to help four of our clients achieve cut-through and connect with the people who matter most to them.”

At this year’s MWC, Sony Mobile brings its three new Xperia™ smartphones, which are brought to life at the event showcase through immersive real-world scenarios.

Matthew Smith, Head of Customer Engagement Marketing at Ericsson said: “At MWC we wanted people to have the opportunity to get close to 5G – to feel the beat of Ericsson’s innovative work and to experience how innovative technology made easy can change the world. We’re delighted to have achieved just that.”
