There are still spaces at tomorrow’s (4 November) ISES Power Hour breakfast event, which will cover emerging technology, Twitter and data.

Richard Ward from Engage and Chris Mitchell from Co. Lab Marketing will host the breakfast event, entitled ‘Interact – Engage – Connect’.

The duo will explore brand engagement in the retail market, consider how customers interact with brands through technology and give advice on intuitive software and harvesting data.

Guests will also be able to explore the interactive showroom and event space, which features technology including Oculus Rift, ‘trying on’ virtual fashion from Alexandra McQueen and Moschino and virtually visiting a fully customisable Radisson hotel suite.

There will also be the chance for delegates to analyse their Twitter streams using data technology.

Kelly Baker, president of ISES UK, said: “Innovations in home technology and the virtual reality worlds that people can now surround themselves mean that brands have to up their game when creating event experiences. We are working with Flux Lounge to give organisers an insight into the latest interactive and immersive technologies available to event professionals.

“People are looking for a different level of engagement at events but the best event technology should remain invisible, enabling the experience but not interrupting it by being overly complicated, time consuming or inefficient. We are looking forward to hearing all the creative ideas that emerge from this from our members and event attendees.”

Delegates can register on the ISES UK website.

The session will run from 8.30am – 10am, at Wool House, Unit 1, 74 Back Church Lane, London. E1 1AB. The nearest tube station is Aldgate East.
