The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) recently (13 March) hosted its 4th annual fundraising event at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Held under the Victoria & Albert Museum’s Dome and Raphael Gallery – patrons, sponsors and alumni enjoyed dinner and cocktails at the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust’s annual fundraising dinner.

The evening was a celebration of great British craftsmanship with funds raised by the auctions going towards future QEST scholarships to train and educate talented and aspiring craftspeople.

Beginning the evening under the Dome, guests enjoyed cocktails and canapes while mingling with past QEST alumni and exploring the craft and craftsmanship on display. Dinner was served in the Raphael Galleries followed by live and silent auctions.

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust is the charitable arm of the Royal Warrant Holders Association and was established to support craftspeople of all ages and backgrounds helping to sustain Britain’s cultural heritage. Since its inception in 1990 the charity has awarded over £4.1m through apprenticeships, college course and training to 500 craftspeople across 130 craft disciplines.
