Event safety and site management software developer Halo Solutions has been selected as one of the top 100 most innovative businesses in Britain and will join the Innovate UK EDGE Scaleup Programme.

The programme supports fast-growing UK-based companies with support and coaching from its board of scale up directors.

Halo said involvement in the programme will further enable it to achieve its development targets of increasing annual recurring revenue eight-fold and expanding its team across overseas territories.

Halo CEO and founder Lloyd Major said, “The programme offers us a unique opportunity to learn from skilled and knowledgeable professionals who have first-hand experience in growing innovative businesses.”

Halo secured a £750,000 investment through the Midven-managed Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) earlier this year. The investment has allowed it to develop its latest software version, Halo v5.

Based in Nottinghamshire, Halo provides security for 1,400 events including the Cricket World Cup (pictured), Notting Hill Carnival, Silverstone, and the Royal Navy Winter Skiing Championships.

The company recently partnered with the largest purpose-built rugby club stadium in England, the Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium (cap. 25,849), home of the Leicester Tigers. Halo will streamline operations in event safety and match-day reporting at the ground.
