GL events Owen Brown is now working on the two biggest events in Scotland this year.

Already an Official Provider at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, the company has today (24 June) announced it will supply temporary structures for The Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in September.

Owen Brown will provide three hospitality suites on the first hole of the course in conjunction with Scottish partner Field and Lawn.

The single, double and triple-deck structures have been tested at The Ryder Cup before, as well as on several stops on the European Tour.

“We are delighted to continue to work with GL events Owen Brown on The 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles,” said Europe’s Ryder Cup match director Edward Kitson. “Having worked with them on several European Tour events and previous Ryder Cups, we have a strong relationship with them and we are certain they will deliver a high quality product befitting the stature of The Ryder Cup.”

Field and Lawn is also supplying the infrastructure for The Ryder Cup’s walkways, courtesy bus terminals and waiting areas for ‘park and ride’ facilities.

“We’re thrilled to be working with The Ryder Cup organisers again and at such an iconic venue,” said Scott Hayward, managing director of GL events UK Group.
