Former Green Man’s Alex Lane appointed festival manager of Truck

Alex Lane, formerly procurement and operations manager at Green Man Festival (cap. 25,000), has been appointed festival manager of Superstruct Entertainment’s Truck Festival (30,000).

Lane, who also works as a freelance event producer at Vectrax, will join a Truck team that includes festival manager Lily Brimble and festival director Matt Harrap.

While at Green Man, Lane oversaw the procurement of all infrastructure and systems, managing a £3m budget and reconciliation. He has also worked in freelance roles at event management company SaaStock, including events and projects manager and event operations manager.

Truck Festival takes place on 21-23 July at Hill Farm, Oxfordshire, with a lineup that includes Royal Blood, Alt-J, Two Door Cinema Club and The Wombats.
