Fabric inks four-year deal to stage concerts at St Paul’s Cathedral

Fabric has become St Paul’s Cathedral’s exclusive partner for contemporary music through to 2030.

Fabric first staged an event at the 300-year old London cathedral in 2024 with a show by Australian electronic music act RY X, it returned to the Grade 1 listed domed landmark a year later with a concert by Patti Smith.

The first show as part of the new partnership at Sir Christopher Wren’s architectural masterpiece is scheduled for 29 October, with details yet to be announced.

The nightclub operator said that over the next four years it will present concerts by a broad range of contemporary music artists at the Cathedral, with irs acoustics, architecture and atmosphere playing a key role in each performance.

Fabric co-founder Cameron Leslie said, “Fabric has always been about bringing people together through music and creating experiences that stay with people. The opportunity to do that at St Paul’s Cathedral over the next four years is incredibly exciting for us.

“It’s an extraordinary and unexpected coming together of two very different parts of London, and we’re looking forward to building on the success of the events we’ve already held and creating something genuinely special and befitting of this incredible space.”
