Events management software provider Eventsforce has launched a programme to support event management students at Coventry University seeking internship opportunities.

Eventsforce will work closely with Coventry University on a communications programme to promote availability of appropriate candidates to its client base of corporate, agency, association and PCO event organisers.

Earlier this year Coventry University announced it would be introducing Eventsforce event management software learning as part of its curriculum for event management students who will become Eventsforce certified on completion of the course.

Eventsforce CEO George Sirius said the decision to support the University¹s internship programme for event management students was a natural progression.

“There has been much talk of event management graduates not being industry ready when they come to the market place and that is something we at Eventsforce are keen to address from a technology perspective. We are delighted to support Coventry University’s Event Management Department.”

Ian Webster, Senior Lecturer and founder of the Event Management degree at Coventry University, added: “We are very excited to work with Eventsforce, not only adding value to our students¹ experience while on the course, but also to offer the event industry skilled and professional graduates who are ready to hit the ground running in management positions. The Eventsforce Certification Qualification will also give our students a competitive  advantage over other universities¹ event management degrees and is one of the main reasons our students are studying at the number one ranked UK University to offer this degree.”
