The European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the organisation behind Eurovision Song Contest, has announced the launch of the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour.
The tour is scheduled to take place across Europe in June and July to mark the competition’s 70th anniversary.
The shows will be promoted by Semmel Concerts, with production led by Progress Productions. According to the EBU, the live tour is designed to extend the Eurovision experience beyond the host city of the 2026 contest and bring performances to audiences across multiple European markets.
The Eurovision Song Contest, first held in 1956, is an annual international music competition organised by EBU and broadcast by public service media organisations in Europe and beyond. The event brings together participating broadcasters, each represented by an original song performed live.
The live tour will feature a combination of past Eurovision performers and artists competing in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Vienna.
Ten artists from the 2026 competition are expected to appear on the tour, alongside performers from the contest’s past. The EBU said the 2026 artists will be confirmed the day after the Grand Final on 16 May 2026, with additional performers to be announced in the following weeks. .
The tour will begin approximately one month after the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, which will take place at the Wiener Stadthalle on 16 May, following semi-finals on 12 and 14 May. The venue previously hosted the contest in 2015.
Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour will include venues such as The O2 arena in London, Hamburg’s Barclays Arena and Arena Milano in Milan.
“As we celebrate 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, we wanted to do something truly unique and special – and the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour is exactly that”, said Eurovision Song Contest director Martin Green CBE. “This historic first tour captures the evolution of the Contest – from broadcast icon to an immersive live experience – with a format that celebrates our fantastic past whilst looking to the future.”
Progress Productions CEO James O’Brien said, “The Eurovision Song Contest has produced some of the most unforgettable performances in music history, and we can’t wait to bring that energy to arenas across Europe in 2026. This tour will be a celebration of everything that makes the Eurovision Song Contest iconic.”
