German live entertainment giant CTS Eventim has revealed record revenue and earnings in its full-year results for 2024.
The company, which acquired See Tickets along with Vivendi’s festival division in a deal valued at €300m (£255m) in June, saw revenues reach €2.8bn (£2.3bn), up 19.1% by the end of last year. Its adjusted EBITDA rose to €542.2m (£451m), an increase of 21.9%.
The results, driven in part by the Vivendi acquisition, also saw Eventim’s live entertainment division report revenues of €1.9bn (£1.6bn), a 17.6% increase year-on-year. The company cited successful productions such as Elf The Musical, exhibitions like Formula 1 and Harry Potter, and strong live music performances as key contributors to its growth.
Eventim concert tours last year included David Gilmour’s performances in the U.S. and Italy, along with strong local content offerings.
“Rising demand, organic growth, ongoing synergies, and a successful international acquisition policy are the pillars of our robust growth,” said CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg (pictured). “In addition to our technologies, our processes and business models are becoming strong exports. This enables us to integrate future acquisitions more quickly, realise synergies sooner, and enhance our success and attractiveness as a partner for international acquisitions and equity investments.”
Following the publication of its results, Eventim announced plans to distribute a record €159.3m (£132.4m) in dividends to shareholders and forecasted a moderate rise in both revenue and EBITDA for 2025.
