Pan European ticketing agent, promoter and venue operator CTS Eventim is expending into North America via a joint venture with Atlanta-based AG Entertainment Touring and festival and tour operator Mammoth Inc, which has offices throughout the US.

CTS Eventim said the deal would enable all involved to strengthen their positions in the worldwide touring market by signing top level acts for US and global tours.

The partnership with Mammoth and AG sees the Eventim Live network expanded to 38 promoters. CTS Eventim said it will hold the majority stake in the new venture and “fully consolidate its financials”.

AG Entertainment was founded in 1996 by Alex “AG” Gidewon. Its touring division has handled US tours by acts including Lil Baby, Future, Da Baby, City Girls, and Lil Durk.

Co-owned by Jeff Fortier and Josh Hunt, Mammoth was launched in 2006 and has since produced a range of events including festivals and tours. Based in Lawrence, Kansas, the company also oversees the operations and ownership of several theatre venues.

CTS Eventim CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg (pictured) said, “North America is the largest market in the world for live entertainment and ticketing. Expanding our presence in the US market is an essential part of our global expansion strategy. We are looking forward to working with the teams at Mammoth and AG to bring exciting tours to fans in the US and around the world.”
