Award-winning multi-arts festival, Latitude, has revealed the first line-up announcements for its eighth edition.

Bloc Party headline the Obelisk Arena, on Friday 19 July. German electronic pioneers Kraftwerk will round off the Saturday evening, performing their celebrated 3-D concert and NME Award winners, Foals, wrap the festival up on Sunday.

“Latitude is firmly established as the most artistically ambitious event in the UK summer calendar, with a line-up that goes from strength to strength each year,” founder and creator, Melvin Benn, said.

“As always, music is just part of the experience,” he added. “Our eleven arts arenas will play host to a selection of comedians, theatre companies, poets, writers and other performers that really do make it much more than a music festival.”

Latitude runs from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 July in Henham Park, Suffolk.
