Fane, Kilimanjaro, Singular Artists and Regular Music have unveiled Seat Unique Presents: An Evening with President Barack Obama, a three-date UK tour in October.

The live talks featuring Obama were first staged last year at London’s O2 Arena and Dublin’s 3Arena, also delivered by Fane, Kilimanjaro and Singular Artist.

Fane, a spoken word events producer, was acquired by Kilimanjaro and Deutsche Entertainment AG (DEAG), owner of Gigantic Tickets, in October 2021. Singular Artists is a joint venture between Kilimanjaro Live and Dublin-based promoters Brian Hand, Simon Merriman and Fin O’Leary.

The live events will see the 44th President of the United States discuss America’s future as the country marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, alongside wider global issues.

The tour will visit The O2 Belfast on 13 October, OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 14 October and Co-op Live Manchester on 15 October.

Organisers said the events will give audiences the opportunity to hear President Obama reflect on his time in office and his work since leaving the White House, including the Obama Foundation and the recently opened Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.

Kilimanjaro CEO Stuart Galbraith and Fane Group CEO Alex Fane said: “We are incredibly honoured to bring President Obama to the UK and Ireland for these truly special events. His message of unity and progress resonates deeply, and we anticipate an evening that will inspire and empower all who attend.”

Seat Unique CEO and founder Robin Sherry said, “At Seat Unique, we’re passionate about bringing fans closer to the world’s greatest live events and our premium experiences including an exclusive photo opportunity with President Barack Obama is a great example of that. We can’t wait to welcome guests this October.”
