Max SteventonThe ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals), the governing body for men’s professional tennis, has appointed Eno Polo as its new CEO.
Polo has served as a player representative on the ATP Board of Directors since 2021. In his new role, he will oversee the ATP’s global operations and the continuation of OneVision, the tour’s long-term development plan.
A former professional tennis player, Polo represented Kenya in the Davis Cup before pursuing an international business career. He has held leadership roles at Nike, Juventus F.C., Havaianas, Global Brands Group and LeDap. He succeeds Massimo Calvelli, who stepped down in June 2025 after more than five years as CEO. Polo will be based in the ATP’s London office.
Polo said, “Tennis is at a transformative moment as a global sport and business. The opportunity that lies ahead is immense. Having had the privilege of working closely with players and tournaments, I know the power of collaboration. It’s an honour to step into this role as ATP CEO and help lead the organisation in its next phase of growth.”
ATP chairman Andrea Gaudzeni said, “Eno is a dynamic and accomplished leader who understands both the commercial landscape and the intricacies of professional tennis. His tenure on the ATP Board has given him direct insight into the sport’s challenges and opportunities.”
