Goldenvoice has announced details of a new three-day heavy metal festival featuring a line-up of veteran rock acts including Guns n’ Roses, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica and Tool.

The AEG-owned promoter will stage the 6-9 October event at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, which it uses for other events including Coachella and Stagecoach.

Tickets for the three-day event start at $599, with a range of options available including reserved floor seats, grandstand seats, a pit area and premium tickets. VIP experiences start at $1,749.

Goldenvoice has a track record of using the site to stage events with bills made up of hugely popular legacy acts. In 2016 it staged the Desert Trip festival, featuring artists such as the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Paul McCartney. In 2011 it staged The Big Four festival on the grounds, with Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax.

Goldenvoice issued a statement that said, “This unique night-time desert setting with unmatched concert production will amplify the experience beyond the traditional stadium or parking lot concert norm with three double-billed headlining performances. This is the most rocking line-up to ever perform in an unparalleled location for heavy music audiences looking for an unforgettable weekend escape.”
