Global catering, hospitality and brand logistics company Global Infusion Group has been certified as a B Corporation.

The certification, awarded by B Lab, a not-for-profit organisation, assesses a company’s social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Businesses are evaluated across five impact areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

To achieve B Corp certification, companies must score at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment and provide evidence of policies and practices related to areas including employee wellbeing, environmental management, ethical supply chains, community engagement and corporate governance.

Global Infusion Group, which includes artist, production and crew catering company Eat to the Beat, now joins more than 9,000 certified B Corporations globally and over 2,500 in the UK.

The certification follows the publication of Global Infusion Group’s first annual Impact Report, which outlines current performance and sets social and environmental targets, including emissions reduction, sustainable procurement, employee training and community investment.

As a certified B Corporation, Global Infusion Group will be required to undergo recertification every three years.

“Becoming a B Corp is a hugely important milestone for our business”, said Global Infusion Group CEO Bonnie May. “It recognises the work we’ve been doing for many years to operate responsibly, look after our people, support our communities and reduce our environmental impact, while continuing to deliver exceptional service for our clients.”
