For big kids: ‘The Monster’

The East of England Arena and Events Centre (EEAEC) recently announced that ‘The Monster’, a gigantic inflatable 300 metre bouncy obstacle course and party event, will be coming to the venue for four days from 30 August to 2 September, 2018 as part of its wider UK tour.

‘The Monster’, 300 metres long with 42 obstacles, begins its tour at Manchester Central on 25 May, before moving on to tour through 6 other major city venues, including Cardiff Motorpoint Arena, Royal Highland Centre Edinburgh, and Alexandra Palace, London, and arriving at EEAEC in late August.

Joe Arditti and Nick Zuppar, promoters at Sunny Paradise Hotel Ltd, the operator and organiser of the obstacle course event and tour, described why EEAEC was chosen.

“EEAEC is ideally situated for ‘The Monster’,” said Arditti, “It provides a full scale, modern and flexible venue in an area underserved by events and experiences like ours. Its excellent road and rail links, free parking and flexibility made it the stand-out venue for the region.”

Zuppar continued, “The Monster, our latest and biggest inflatable obstacle course, is going to draw even bigger crowds than ‘The Beast’, our previous event, and EEAEC has the scope and scale to accommodate not only ‘The Monster’, but also the dazzling array of street-food pop ups, craft beer stalls, cocktails bars and many other attractions that help create the party atmosphere we want at every venue.”

Dean Rees, EEAEC’s business development manager welcomed the decision by Sunny Paradise Hotel Ltd., saying “’The Monster’ is going to be a very popular event if last year’s touring success of ‘The Beast’ is anything to go by. We’re looking forward helping make it a long, bouncy weekend to remember.”

This year, The Monster dares you to let loose your inner child as the world’s biggest bouncy castle experience announces a full UK tour with tickets on sale now. At nearly 300 metres long, The Monster is one of the world’s largest inflatable obstacle courses and hands down the craziest nostalgic bouncy castle experience for adults.

The brainchild of the events team who unleashed sell-out events with the The Beast in London (Alexandra Palace) and Birmingham (NEC) in 2017, The Monster is bigger, better and more bonkers than ever before.

Run, bounce, dance and jump your way around The Monster and regress to your childhood as you take on 42 brand new obstacles including an 18m ‘Mega Slide’, a ‘Tunnel of Love’ and ‘The Bouncy Cage of Doom!’

The fun doesn’t stop once you’ve conquered The Monster. With your adrenaline pumping, you’re bound to have worked up a thirst and a serious appetite – enjoy a wide range of delicious street food, refreshing super-cocktails, craft beers and much more from a host of mouth-watering street food pop-ups.

Lighting and AV will have been set up by Hawk AV – which is now in-house supplier to EEAEC.
