The Make A Difference Trust (MAD Trust) is producing its ‘West End Eurovision’ show next month, and AV and event production company Blitz is providing sound support.

Taking place at the Adelphi Theatre on Sunday 28th April, the interactive event will raise money for MAD Trust, which fundraises for HIV and AIDS projects that build awareness and provide care, support and education in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Blitz, a GES company, has a highly skilled theatre sound design team who are renowned in the theatre industry for their work on a large variety of shows.

‘West End Eurovision’ will feature eight casts from West End musicals competing against each other by singing original Eurovision songs, to win text votes from the audience and the approval of a panel of judges.

Martyn Hunt, theatre & sound project development manager at Blitz, said: “Blitz prides itself on its sound technical support for all of our clients, so we feel honoured to be able to provide equipment for such an important event and help raise funds for The Make A Difference Trust. We have worked on this event in the past and it’s such a fun, feel-good evening for a very worthy cause.”

Melanie Tranter, The Make A Difference Trust co-founder, trustee and chair, said: “We received fantastic reviews for last year’s West End Eurovision show, with much made of the production side. The tech and creatives did an amazing job – not a foot wrong.

“We can’t thank the Blitz sound team enough for supporting our event. The money raised allows us to continue our vital work supporting those living with or affected by HIV and AIDS.”
