Stuart WoodDating app Tinder has added a new ‘festival mode’, which allows users to connect with other festival attendees before the event starts.
The app has partnered with a series of festivals, including All Points East, Parklife, British Summer Time and Lovebox.
It can recognise when users have purchased tickets for these festivals, and places a festival badge on a user’s profile accordingly.
As users swipe left or right, they then have a chance of finding others who are attending the same event.
The badges are active for approximately three weeks prior to the start of the event.
