Experienced lighting designers Ross Chapple and Nick Jevons have launched Auratecture, a new lighting design studio.
With over a decade of collaboration, Chapple and Jevons bring extensive experience to Auratecture. Chapple has worked on projects with artists like Eric Prydz, while Jevons has been involved with major festivals such as Terminal V, Gottwood, and Hits Radio Live, as well as events like the International Music Summit in Ibiza.
Their portfolio also includes collaborations with bands such as The Darkness, Pulp, Flight of the Conchords and Roots Manuva.
Jevons said, “We have a historical friendship stretching back over a decade, during which time we have admired each other’s creativity and work ethos. Our individual artistic visions are contrasting yet complementary, and we felt the time was right to bring our thinking, skills and resources together to build something really special – a design partnership where our creativity could nurture exciting new collaborations.”
Chapple said, “Nick and I are both musically driven people, and are gravitating in a world of quality music and design. Creating impact to complement the musical foundation and the artist’s own vision is where we are focused. We want to help our clients draw their music out visually through the designs we create for them, and for those designs to represent the artist in a truthful way.”
