Irish comedian Keith Farnan has been announced as the host of the Event Production Awards, taking place on 16 February at Twickenham Stadium.

Formerly a solicitor on Death Row, Farnan began his career in Ireland, where he reached headliner status at The Laughter Lounge in Dublin. He has performed at several major clubs and events in Europe including Edinburgh Fringe. His solo shows have seen him perform at the Royal Festival Hall and at London’s Soho Theatre.

Farnan appeared at the Montreal Just For Laughs All Access show for the Canadian Comedy Network and the Netherlands’ highest-rated comedy show, The Comedy Factory. In America, Showtime have had him appear on its new standup show, Live From Amsterdam, which brought together the best American and European comedians working on the live circuit.

Organised by Access All Areas owner Mash Media and overseen by the team behind the Event Production Show and Access All Areas Conference & Awards, the EPAs will celebrate excellence in the delivery and production of live events.

The EPAs categories will cover a range of services and skills across the live events sector, with suppliers, agencies, venues, production teams and promoters all up for awards.
