Access All Areas sister event the Event Production Awards (EPA) is to take place at the home of England Rugby, Twickenham Stadium, for the first time.

Organised by Access All Areas owner Mash Media, The EPAs will be staged on 16 February at the stadium. Seating up to 82,000 people, Twickenham is the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world.

Overseen by the team behind the Event Production Show and Access All Areas Conference & Awards, the EPAs recognise excellence in the delivery and production of live events. The award categories cover the numerous services and skills across the live events sector, with awards recognising the work of suppliers, agencies, venues, production teams and promoters.

Instead of focusing on individual events this year, the EPAs will celebrate the achievements of companies. New categories include Best Sports Promoter, Production Agency of the Year, Creative Agency of the Year and Best Music Promoter. Also new for 2023 will be Save of the Season.

Access All Areas sales director James Linin said, “The Event Production Awards has long been a stalwart in the live event industry’s calendar but every winning formula needs to evolve. Having taken a fresh look at the EPAs, we have added new event categories and found a new, more suitable, environment in which to reflect on and celebrate the work of our incredible industry, particularly its world-class supply chain operators. We can’t wait to open the gates and welcome you in February.”

Twickenham stadium business development manager Emily Simmons-Wright said, “I am so pleased to see this opportunity come to life after having watched the EPAs grow over the years.

“We look forward to welcoming and hosting a variety of talents within the event production sector and building new relationships.”
