Having received a huge response to the announcement of the inaugural Access All Areas Conference & Awards, organisers of the 12 January event have unveiled the shortlisted nominees.
The awards event was created to celebrate individual achievement as well as that of teams at promoters and production companies. The shortlist includes major promoters such as DF Concerts and AEG Presents, independent festivals including Victorious (cap. 80,000), Black Deer (20,000), Standon Calling (17,000) and The Cambridge Club (15,000) alongside freelancers, production managers and ‘unsung heroes’.
The event, which will take place at London’s EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) in London, will kickstart 2023 by providing a forum for the industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the year ahead, while also recognising key industry success stories of 2022.
The morning conference will focus on three key topics; sustainability, working through the cost of living crisis, and how to redress the impact of the pandemic on recruitment. All sessions will be chaired by Access All Areas content director Christopher Barrett.
Said Barrett, “It has been another remarkable year for the live events industry with no shortage of challenges. The Access All Areas Conference & Awards is an excellent opportunity to take time out to reflect on the huge achievements of so many events professionals in our industry who worked tirelessly under huge pressure to pull off successful shows. Congratulations to all the well-deserved entries who made the cut.”
