Max SteventonLive events security specialist K4 Group is the latest company to feature in the AAA Explores short film series, which goes behind the scenes to showcase venues, live events, key destinations and event suppliers.
The Explores film follows K4 as the company demonstrates its expertise in event security and crowd management during two of its many high-profile assignments this summer: sport and music event Summer Social and the Chariot Festival; the UK’s largest Hindu cultural gathering.
At the Summer Social, K4 oversaw onsite security, managed crowd flow and access control, while at the Chariot Festival its remit included ensuring both the safety and respect for all involved in the ceremonial and cultural aspects of the festival.
Among those interviewed is K4 Group CEO Arsalan Khan who explains how K4 Group’s offering stretches beyond security provision to include additional services such as medical services and training.
“We have overcome different hurdles as we’ve expanded but as a business we have never shied away from change. We have adapted and grown as and when the environment has changed,” he said.
The film also finds K4 Group COO Tami Blay and safety officer Ken Thorogood offering insights into the company’s approach to overcoming challenges to ensure the delivery of safe and secure events.
