K4 Group of Companies CEO Arsalan Khan has been appointed to the board of the International Professional Security Association (IPSA) as director of events and crowd safety.

IPSA is a UK professional body focused on standards and professional development in the security sector. The appointment places Khan among its governing board at a time when event and crowd management practices continue to be under review across the industry.

K4 Group has expanded its services beyond security in recent years to include medical provision, training, workforce services, CCTV, and digital operations.

Khan began his career at 18 as a stadium steward and later served in the police. He subsequently worked in the private security sector for more than a decade, moving into senior roles overseeing event operations. His experience includes work on large-scale events and crowd management. He holds a degree in event management and qualifications in spectator safety, crowd management, health and safety, and CCTV operations. He is also involved in training and assessment within the security industry.

“I have always believed that professional bodies such as IPSA play a vital role in shaping the future of the security profession,” Khan said. “I welcome this opportunity to contribute my experience, perspective and industry network to support IPSA’s continued growth and impact within the profession.”
