Christopher BarrettFar And Beyond (FAB) has taken over as the operator of electronic music event the Forbidden Forrest Festival.
The festival, promoted by Forbidden Festival Ltd, will be held in the grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire from 29 May – 1 June. Last year, the promoter had a revised licence application approved by Melton Borough Council allowing it to expand the festival’s daily capacity by 7,000 to 22,000 people.

Cohen said the 2025 edition of Forbidden Forest will benefit from a £1 million investment in providing an enhanced experience for attendees, including an improved site layout and a £150,000 worth of groundwork and wet weather improvements, improved security operations, upgraded sound systems, a dedicated access team, plus upgraded amenities including designated free WiFi hotspots across the campsite.
“Our team has worked tirelessly to incorporate feedback from last year’s show and we’re excited to reveal these major upgrades alongside a powerhouse lineup,” he said. “The vision for 2025 is to create an even more immersive and comfortable festival experience, while maintaining the magic that Forbidden Forest is known for.”
